Terms of Use

The Service

Swin lets swimmers and coaches track training sessions, meets and results, set goals, calculate FINA points and training intensity, and browse swimming records, news and a meet calendar. Some information — such as records, FINA reference times and meet calendars — is provided for reference "as is".

Accounts

You need an account, created through Firebase Authentication, to use most features. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

Eligibility and minors

You must be an adult to create an account. You may create and manage swimmer profiles for others, including minors, only if you have the authority and any legally required consent to do so.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you enter (profiles, notes, feedback). You grant us a limited right to host and process that content solely to provide the Service. You are responsible for the content you submit and must have the right to submit it.

Acceptable use

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
• access or attempt to access data or accounts that are not yours;
• disrupt, reverse-engineer, overload or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure;
• upload malicious, unlawful or infringing content; or
• scrape, copy or resell the Service or its content without authorisation.

Third-party and informational data

Records, FINA points, training intensity zones and the meet calendar (including data synced from sources such as ABMN and World Aquatics) are provided for convenience and may contain errors or become outdated. Always confirm important details — for example meet dates and entry deadlines — with the official organiser.

No professional advice

Swin provides training and performance tools for informational purposes only and does not provide medical, health or professional coaching advice. Consult a qualified professional before making training or health decisions.

Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design and branding, belongs to Gonca Dev and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks or software beyond using the Service as permitted.

Availability and changes

We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time. We may also update these Terms; for material changes we will provide a notice in the app, and your continued use of the Service means you accept the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully.

Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind to the extent permitted by law.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gonca Dev will not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including consumer-protection rights under the Brazilian Código de Defesa do Consumidor.

Privacy

Our handling of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your place of residence.
